Looking for work? Polk County Sheriff’s Office to host job fair

POLK COUNTY, Fla. — The Polk County Sheriff’s Office will hold a job fair on Sept 16.

The event will start at 9 a.m. and will be held at the Sheriff’s Operations Center located at 1891 Jim Keene Blvd. in Winter Haven.

The sheriff’s office is looking to fill both sworn and civilian positions in several areas.

Among the positions available are dual academy recruits, data security coordinators, telecommunicators, IT technical analysts; computer forensic specialists, animal control, and part-time civilian positions.

The sheriff’s office said human resources representatives will be on site to process applications and qualified applicants will receive a conditional offer of employment that same day.
