Cops: Man allegedly stabs 64-year-old during argument

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — A 64-year-old man was stabbed while arguing with another man in the middle of Downing Street Tuesday night, according to the New Smyrna Beach Police Department.

Investigators said Ronald Willsey was stabbed in the chest by 33-year-old Alexis Calderon.

Willsey was taken to Halifax Hospital and was in stable condition, officers said.

Investigators said they found Calderon hiding in a nearby apartment, where he was arrested on an attempted murder charge.

Tipsters will remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward up to $1000 for information leading to an indictment.
