ORLANDO, Fla. - Shortly after asking an underage teen to play Russian roulette, an 18-year-old shot a 17-year-old girl in an Orlando apartment while waving around a revolver, witnesses said, according to a newly released arrest affidavit.
The owner of the gun, Carrevious Davis, 18, is facing second-degree murder charges in the death of Tatyana Semion, 17, as well as a charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
According to an arrest affidavit, witnesses, ranging in age from 13 to 16, said Davis had been playing around with the gun the night of July 10 at the Orlando apartment Davis shared with his 14-year-old brother.

At some point in the night, the affidavit states that Davis asked one of the teens to play Russian roulette. The teen told police he said no and told Davis not to point the gun at him.
The teen told police Davis continued to wave the gun around. It fired, and the teen said the bullet struck Semion. Witnesses told investigators that Davis panicked and begged Semion not to die.
Two minutes later, one of the witnesses told police Davis said “(expletive) it,” grabbed his gun and fled.
When medics arrived, Semion was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said all of the witnesses told them they believed the shooting was accidental.
The victim's family is still trying to come to terms with what happened.
“I'm hurt, and I miss my daughter,” said Semion’s mother, Clear Maximin.
Semion should have graduated high school next year. Her family says then, after college, maybe she might have been a pediatrician.
Instead, loved ones are planning her funeral.
“I never thought I'd be going through this, to tell you the honest truth,” Maximin said.
A GoFundMe account has been created to help Semion's family pay for funeral expenses.
