Man arrested in shooting that led to truck crashing through Pine Hills home

PINE HILLS, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they arrested the man who they said shot and killed a man in Pine Hills while he was driving, causing him to plow into a home with people inside.

Authorities said gunfire erupted in Pine Hills last week when D’eonta Rogers, who was driving the truck, was struck in the head by a bullet and crashed into the home on Westbury Drive near Silver Star Road.

Two other men in the truck were injured, and a mother, child and teenager inside the home were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.

Deputies arrested Stephen Bocicault on Thursday in connection to the shooting.

According to deputies, Bocicault and Rogers were involved in some kind of dispute.
