Man fatally shot, body found in Orange County dumpster

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they are hoping to get surveillance video from a gas station where a man was shot and killed.

Deputies said Daryl Contreras-Sanchez, 30, was killed near a Quikstop convenience store on Kaley Avenue and South Orange Blossom Trail Sunday.

A witness said she was going to work at the gas station when she saw investigators searching garbage cans and dumpsters for clues.

"It was kind of unnerving having to come to work and see a shooting being at your place of business, but you have to work. You have to pay bills," said witness Eboni Abrams.

Sanchez's friend called 911, saying Sanchez's body was dumped at an industrial park business on Landstreet Road.
