Man shot outside Winter Garden home, deputies say

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Detectives are working to figure out who’s behind a shooting that sent one man to a hospital early Wednesday.

Around 1 a.m., deputies responded to the 600-block of Bethune Avenue in Winter Garden, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

Investigators said someone shot the 20-year-old victim in front of a home before driving off.

Officials have not yet provided information on possible suspects, a description of their car or a motive for the shooting.

The victim’s injuries aren’t life-threatening, according to investigators.
