Marion home where 17 dogs were stolen shot up, 3-year-old hit

MARION COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies are looking for the person who they said fired five bullets into a Marion County mobile home where 17 pit bulls were stolen this week.

Thirty-one-year-old Taegren Jones, and his 3-year-old son, were each hit once Thursday morning, while they were sleeping.

Deputies have not said if they think the shooting is tied to the stolen pit bulls.

Both victims are expected to be OK.
