Mom accused of trying to sell baby for trip to Disney World

ORLANDO, Fla.,None — A Delaware woman is facing a list of charges after police said she sold her baby to pay for a trip to Disney World.

Police said Bridget Wismer posted on Facebook that she wanted to sell the newborn.

Investigators said they found the baby in John Gavaghan's Philadelphia home, along with signed contracts showing the child was bought for $15,000.

Wismer claimed she's friends with Gavaghan, and he offered to care for her baby.

"He's just looking out for me and the baby, and we both just love this baby so much,” said Wismer.

Wismer is free on bail, but prosecutors have asked a judge to increase the bond and get her back in jail.

The baby is in foster care.
