Monday’s forecast calls for dry, cool weather; here’s when rain will return

ORLANDO, Fla. — The week will start cool and dry on Monday.

Channel 9 meteorologist Rusty McCranie said the day will start out chilly with highs warming up to the mid-70s.

“It’s going to be beautiful,” McCranie said.

Lows will dip into the 60s overnight.

Rain will return to the forecast Tuesday and Wednesday with a 60% chance each day.

McCranie said there’s a chance of isolated severe storms in the late afternoon and evening on Tuesday, with a chance of strong winds.

The forecast is set to dry out on Thursday and Friday to close out spring break.
