Mother’s Day Drive: How you can help victims of domestic violence in Seminole County

SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. — Seminole County is hosting its annual Mother’s Day Drive to benefit victims of domestic violence who are receiving support at SafeHouse of Seminole.

New and unused donations of hygiene, household and children’s items can be dropped off at any Seminole County Library branch, any Seminole County Fire Department station, Red Bug Lake Park in Casselberry, or the Seminole County Softball Complex in Altamonte Springs through May 5.

Accepted items include:

HYGIENE ITEMS (FULL SIZE):

- Shampoo & conditioner

- Body wash

- Body lotion

- Hair brushes

- Toothbrushes & toothpaste

HOUSEHOLD ITEMS:

- Paper products (paper towels, paper plates, etc. - no styrofoam)

- Food containers & plastic bags

- Twin blankets & bed sheet sets

- Cleaning products

- Garbage bags

CHILDREN’S ITEMS

- Diapers (Sizes 3 - 6)

- Wipes

- Formula
