Motorcyclist stable after crash with SUV in St. Cloud

ST. CLOUD, Fla. — A man driving a motorcycle in St. Cloud was involved in a collision with an SUV Sunday morning, police said.

The accident happened at the intersection of Canoe Creek Road and Friars Cove Lane in St. Cloud just after 9 a.m.

The intersection has reopened after it was closed in all directions, St. Cloud police said.

The man driving the motorcycle is in stabled condition after he was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center with life-threatening injuries, according to a release.

Police said he was not wearing a helmet.

The traffic investigation is ongoing and the names of those involved have not been released.
