Neighbors voice frustration over crime after teen fatally shot in Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Neighbors in the Lake Mann Estates community said the recent shooting death of a 17-year-old boy is the latest crime in their neighborhood that has them frustrated.

They said they’ve reached out to the city and police for help, but issues continue. Neighbors said they’ve been working for years to get help, and feel some of the crime could be prevented.

Investigators said the teen was shot and killed on Domino Drive near Lake Mann Road around 11 p.m. Friday night.

A community meeting is set for Wednesday. District 5 representative Reginal Hill said she will be there. She also said there is a plan to pour $2.4 million toward gun and violence prevention.
