No pedal buses for Cocoa Beach, commissioners say

COCOA BEACH, Fla. — A push for a pedal bus that serves alcohol in Cocoa Beach was stopped before it ever started.

An Orlando business owner wanted to bring the party bikes, similar to the one already running in Sanford, to Cocoa Beach.

But Thursday night, City Commissioners didn’t bring it to a vote.

The chair asked for a motion and a second to discuss the issue, but no one ever spoke up.

It’s the second time the idea was denied in Cocoa Beach.
