Security officer on motorcycle hit by car during funeral procession

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Authorities said a private security officer on a motorcycle was hit by a car Saturday afternoon in the Eatonville area of Orange County.

According to officials, the security officer was part of a funeral procession when he was struck by a vehicle on West Kennedy Boulevard around 2:40 p.m.

Officials said the vehicle that hit the victim was also part of the funeral procession but was trying to leave.

The officer was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
