ORLANDO, Fla. — The Federal Aviation Authority is warning that weather could continue to lead to ground stops across the country.

Delays were a thing of the past at Orlando International Airport Friday evening as many passengers were able to get to their gates ahead of time or right on time.

This comes after delays riddled the airport earlier in the day and throughout the weekend.

More than 4,000 flights across the country were either delayed or canceled on Sunday alone.

According to the FAA, the risk of ground stops due to weather remains. However, some passengers at OIA Friday night said they weren’t stressed about it.
“If there’s a delay, there’s a delay,” traveler Miyagi Dabs said. “I’m not worried about it.”
