• Deputies: One dead, one injured in dispute between roommates

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Orange County deputies said an argument between two roommates left one of them dead and and the other critically injured Saturday afternoon.

Authorities said that a concerned co-worker went to check on the men in their home on Rivers Edge Drive around 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

The co-worker discovered the deceased victim and immediately called 911, deputies said.

When law enforcement arrived at the home, they found the second victim, who was suffering from a life threatening injury. He was transported to the hospital in critical condition.

Officials said both victims were men in their mid 30's. Their identities have not been released.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident.
