Orange Co. deputy hospitalized after cruiser collides with minivan

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — An Orange County deputy is in the hospital after her cruiser collided with a minivan.

The sheriff's office said the deputy was responding to a call when she hit the minivan.

The crash happened at the intersection of Oak Ridge Road and Orange Avenue at about 11:30 p.m. Sunday.

The patrol car's lights and sirens were on.

Investigators said they are trying to figure out who is at fault.

The deputy's condition is unknown.

No one in the van was injured.
