Orange County Circle K robbed for second time in one month

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they are searching for an armed robber who held up a convenience store early Friday morning.

Authorities said a man armed with a shotgun walked into the Circle K on Orange Blossom Trail and Central Florida Parkway and demanded money. It is the second time that store has been hit in a month, deputies said.

Investigators were at the scene collecting evidence. Authorities said they are working to find out whether Friday morning's crime is connected to a string of robberies on the area.

Deputies said there are more than a half-dozen unsolved robberies in the area where someone walks into a store with their face covered by some kind of a mask or a shirt over their head. In some cases, it is two people and in some cases it is one.
