• Residents displaced after house fire


    ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. - Officials said Orange County residents were displaced after their home was heavily damaged in a fire early Saturday morning.

    The fire broke out at the home on the 7000 block of Glasgow Avenue around 1 a.m., officials said.

    The homeowner woke up to find smoke and flames coming from the back of the house, according to officials. Firefighters said the fire quickly spread through the attic and tore open the roof.

    No one was injured in the fire and the Red Cross is assisting the residents who lived at the home, which is considered a total loss, according to officials.

    Authorities said it's unclear what sparked the fire. The State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
