2 dead, 1 injured in Orange County house fire

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Two people died and one person was injured after a house caught fire in Orange County Friday morning.

Firefighters said the blaze started just after 4 a.m. on Pompeii Road.

One person was taken to a hospital. The other two people died at the scene.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says the deaths are being investigated as suspicious in nature and has assigned their homicide unit to the case.

They’re still working to identify the two people who were killed.

Orange County Fire Rescue is investigating the cause of the fire.

No other details were available.
