EATONVILLE, Fla. — One man is dead and another is recovering from his injuries after being shot Sunday night in Eatonville, according to police.
Officers said the possible drive-by shooting happened around 8:50 p.m. on Clark Street near St. Lawrence Church.

Both victims live in the Clark Street area, officers said. Officials said 26-year-old Marquez Atkins and 23-year-old Chris Harmon were standing in an area driveway when a driver rolled down their window and shot a “long” gun in their direction. Atkins was struck in the leg, while Harmon was struck in the area of the upper body, according to police.
Harmon died of his injuries early Monday morning.
Officials said Atkins is in stable condition and recovering from his wounds.
Police are looking for a light-colored Kia Optima that was seen fleeing the scene.

Officers said cameras in the area captured the shooting.
