Boy, 15, accused of fatally shooting another 15-year-old in Ocoee

OCOEE, Fla. — A 15-year-old boy is accused of fatally shooting another 15-year-old boy, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office said.

The 15-year-old is facing a second-degree murder charge.

Investigators said the shooting happened at 4:40 a.m. Monday in the 500 block of 2nd Street.

Deputies said they located Jesus Ramirez, 15, and rendered aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives said the shooting was not random, and that there is no ongoing danger to the public.
