ORLANDO, Fla. — A very special happy birthday is in order for one of Central Florida’s beloved veterans.

Robert Geller, a World War II veteran, celebrated his 100th birthday this week.

Geller celebrated his big day in Orlando at the Lake Baldwin Clinic for Veterans Affairs.

Geller was drafted in 1942 and served as a clerk in the U.S Army.

He spoke with Channel 9 to share some great advice on living a healthy life.
“For the younger generation is to live a good clean life. Stay away from drugs. Stay away from cigarettes,” Geller said.
When he retired from the Army, he used his GI Bill to become a certified public accountant.
He helped grow a two-person CPA firm into one of the largest firms in Central Florida.
