Winds shift, cold front tonight reinforces cool air

ORLANDO, Fla. — After a cold morning across Central Florida, where temperatures around sunrise were in the mid-40s, Ocala with the coolest temperature registering 35 degrees.

The winds have shifted and will stay out of the west until after the cold front pushes through early Wednesday morning. Highs reached low 70s Tuesday afternoon.


Severe Weather on Saturday formed 2 tornadoes: EF-0 and EF1 in Lake and Volusia Counties

Low temperatures again will drop to the mid to upper-40s. No significant rain is expected with the front passing over Central Florida.

By the end of the week high temperatures will be well above average for this time of the year, about 10 degrees above average. Highs will be in the 80s by Friday afternoon.
