ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A court ruled that the face mask mandate in Orange County is legal.
Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings issued the executive order requiring face coverings at the beginning of May.
The order states that every person either working, living, or visiting must wear a mask in public.
It was enacted in response to increasing COVID-19 cases in Orange County and the rest of the state.
The mandate does not have an expiration date.
Both the mayor and Orange County’s top health officials believe we will be wearing face coverings well into next year.
