Deadly motorcycle crash shuts down part of Orange Blossom Trail in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash Friday morning.

The crash happened around 6:25 a.m. on North Orange Blossom Trail near Willow Street, near Mount Dora.

Troopers said a 28-year-old man, who was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The 38-year-old Mount Dora driver of the Kia was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The southbound lanes of North Orange Blossom were shut down as troopers worked to investigate the crash.
