Orange County COVID-19 positivity rate starting to level out at 20%, mayor says

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said the county’s COVID-19 positivity rate is starting to level out, at 20%.

Over the weekend, nearly 6,800 COVID-19 tests were administered at the county’s testing sites.

The mayor also said more people are heading to local vaccination sites.

Demings said the Camping World Stadium vaccination site is only offering the Pfizer shot.

The county has not received a new shipment of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 shot.

The Camping World Stadium vaccination site closed early over the weekend due to high demand.
