Jack Kazanzas Star rises to shine holiday light on downtown Orlando

ORLANDO, Fla. — Visitors of downtown Orlando can feast their eyes on a returning holiday tradition.

The Jack Kazanzas Star is now hanging over Orange Avenue at Central Boulevard.

Crews worked over the weekend to raise the beacon for the holidays.

The star is a tradition dating back more than 50 years, symbolizing the start of Orlando’s holiday season.
