Orange County career fair, walk supports students, raises over 67K

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Many students will have the chance to pursue their careers with some help from United Negro College Fund.

The UNCF Career Fair and Walk for Education took place Saturday morning at Blue Jacket Park.

Channel 9 anchor Daralene Jones cohosted the event with on-air personality JoJo from Star 94.5.

Guests walked around the park in support of the cause.

Attendees learned about career and scholarship opportunities, played games and won prizes.

The group raised over $67,000 to help send local students to college and help them while they pursue their goals.
