Orange County deputy suffers minor injuries after striking power pole

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A deputy with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office was treated for minor injuries after he struck a power pole with his patrol vehicle, according to officials.

Deputies said Carl Bronislawski was responding to an emergency call just before 4:00 a.m. when he struck the pole and fence a Postell’s Mortuary near Powers Drive.

The deputy was treated on the scene for minor injuries on scene by Orange County Fire Rescue medics.

Orlando Utilities Commission responded to the crash to fix the power pole.

The incident remains under investigation by the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
