Over 800 students volunteer at Rollins College annual day of service

WINTER PARK, Fla. — Many students pitched in for a good cause at Rollins College’s annual community service event on Saturday.

This year, over 800 students packed 75,000 meals on campus for the Service, Passion, Action, Rollins College Day of Community with U.S. Hunger.

The meals will be donated to the United Against Poverty organization.

SPARC Day has been held for 17 years, with more than 9,000 faculty, staff, students, alumni and friends who have contributed more than 39,000 hours of community service.
