ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly crash after a pedestrian was struck by two vehicles while crossing the road.
The crash happened near the intersection of East Colonial Drive and Sherman Street in Orange County around 9:15 p.m. on Saturday.
Troopers said that a Ford F-250 was traveling eastbound on East Colonial Drive when a pedestrian crossed the street, not in a marked crosswalk.
The truck hit the pedestrian, sending her into the westbound lanes of Colonial Drive, where she was hit by a Honda Accord traveling westbound.
The 39-year-old Orlando woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Both drivers remained at the scene and were not injured in the crash.
