ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A pilot is safe after their plane sank in a lake along Edgewood Ranch Road near Old Winter Garden Road.
The plane couldn’t be seen from Skywitness News because it is submerged.
The pilot, who was the only person in the aircraft, made it safely to shore and is being transported to the hospital for minor injuries.
#Aircraft Emergency 1147 Edgewood Rand Rd: Aircraft down in water, only 1 occupant inside- the pilot. Pilot made it out of the aircraft and onto shore; will be transported for minor injuries. Extended operations to retrieve aircraft.
