Potential threat found written on Boone High School bathroom wall, district says

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Law enforcement is investigating after officials said a potential threat was found written on a bathroom wall at Boone High School on Monday.

The district said a Connect Orange message went out to parents Monday afternoon letting them know about the potential threat.

The principal said the district takes these types of situations seriously and that disciplinary action will be handed out according to the Code of Student Conduct, which could include suspension, expulsion or arrest.

The district said out of an abundance of caution, there is additional law enforcement present on campus Tuesday.
