Orlando private school teacher accused of molesting student

ORLANDO, Fla. — A schoolteacher in Orlando was arrested Tuesday on charges of molesting a student, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Officers said Michael L. McMillian was charged with lewd and lascivious molestation, lewd and lascivious conduct, child abuse, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and offenses against students by an authority figure.

The student goes to Victory Christian Academy on Ivey Lane, police said.

According to jail records, the alleged incident happened earlier this month.

A 13-year-old student said he touched her over and under her clothes at school.

She said it started when she was 12 and her teacher would touch her bottom over her clothes and even "touch her boobs while other students were in class."

The girl recorded what happened in her diary.

Court paperwork shows the principal of Victory Christian Academy interviewed McMillian and told police "he admitted to touching the victim as she described in her diary."

The principal also said he "admitted to victimizing other students at other insitutions."

McMillian was fired from the school after administrators learned about the allegations.
