Robber brandishes gun while stealing cash from Orlando Dollar Tree

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police are looking for a man they said robbed an Orlando Dollar Tree store at gunpoint.

Police said the robber was wearing a bandanna on his face when he walked into the Dollar Tree on North Orange Blossom Trail Monday night with a gun and demanded money from the register and safe.

One employee told Channel 9 she thought the robber was going to kill her.

"I thank God I came home to my family," said employee Tiffany Coleman.

Coleman said one employee emptied the safe for the robber, who then lined them up against the wall.

"He told all three of us to face the wall and count to 1,000 and he ran out the door," said Coleman.

In the end, no one was hurt, police said.

Employees described the man as black, standing about 5 feet 3 inches tall.
