Osceola County man arrested, charged with downloading child porn

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Osceola County deputies arrested a man they said was downloading child pornography on his home computer.

According to detectives, they started investigating Lawrence Alt in March. He's accused of downloading hundreds of images of child pornography.

Deputies searched Alt's home on Pine Drive in Kenansville Tuesday morning and took his computer and other items as evidence.

Officials said the 44-year-old was cooperative when he was taken into custody Tuesday. He's being held at the Osceola County Jail on a $55,000 bond.
