Osceola County man claims $1,000 a week for life in multistate drawing

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — An Osceola County man won $1,000 a week for life after matching all 6 numbers in the multistate Cash4life drawing Jan 4.

Bruce Prehal, a 67-year-old of Harmony, Florida, purchased the winning ticket at the Winn-Dixie, located at 3318 Canoe Creek Road in Saint Cloud.

Prehal chose to receive a one-time, lump-sum payment of $1,000,000 instead of the weekly payments.

The retailer that sold the winning ticket is also a winner and will receive a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Cash4life is available in 10 states and offers two lifetime prizes, $1,000 a day for life and $1,000 a week for life.

Drawings are held at 9 p.m., seven nights a week.
