UPDATE: Missing Kissimmee woman with memory loss found safe

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — 11 a.m. Update:

According to deputies, Brenda Bates has been found in good health.

Deputies in Osceola County are asking for help finding a missing woman with memory trouble.

Deputies said Brenda Bates left her home in Kissimmee on Friday morning and hasn’t been seen since.

She drove to Ocala, then started calling her family saying she was lost and couldn’t get her GPS to work.

Deputies said it also appears her cellphone died.

Bates takes medication for her memory loss, deputies said.

According to a report, she was last seen driving a gold 2004 Buick SUV with Florida tag Y74 8BQ.

Anyone who sees Bates or her SUV is asked to call the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at 407-348-1100.
