Osceola County to share details about widening and improvement project for Poinciana Boulevard

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Osceola County will hold a public meeting Tuesday to share details on its Poinciana Boulevard Widening Project.

The meeting will take place from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Poinciana Community Center on Marigold Avenue in Kissimmee. People can also join the meeting virtually.

The road work is planned for around 5.7 miles from Trafalgar Boulevard to Pleasant Hill Road.

This project involves several upgrades including the construction of a four-lane divided roadway, drainage improvements and changes to the intersection at Pleasant Hill Road.

Officials said there are no bridges or railroad crossings along the route of the project.
