Osceola County continues to clear storm debris left behind from Hurricane Ian

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. — Crews in Osceola County will be picking up Hurricane Ian debris from unincorporated flood zones on Monday.

The cleanup continues in Osceola County, more than two weeks after Hurricane Ian.

Crews are working to pick up debris in some hard-hit neighborhoods that flooded during the storm.

Residents in those areas need to keep debris 3 feet from the curb or any fire hydrants, mailboxes, signs, or parked cars.

In addition to debris, the county will collect carpet, furniture and home appliances.

Officials said residents need to make sure they don’t mix hurricane debris with regular household garbage.
