Parents of Trayvon Martin to speak at Tom Joyner Family Reunion

KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The parents of Trayvon Martin will be part of a panel at a town hall meeting focused on black families in Orlando.

Tom Joyner's annual Family Reunion, which according to a release attracts more than 16,000 people to Orlando, will be hosting the forum Sunday.

The meeting is taking place at the Gaylord Palms Resort in Kissimmee at 3:30 p.m.

The event is an opportunity for families to gather and express views, heal and discuss solutions, according to the release.

In addition to Trayvon Martin's parents Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin, attorney Benjamin Crump, Sen. Geraldine Thompson and Rep. Corrine Brown will be in attendance, according to the release.
