Pedestrian killed in Melbourne crash on I-95

MELBOURNE, Fla. — The Florida Highway Patrol is investigating a crash in Melbourne that killed a pedestrian.

Troopers said Ashley Adams, 22, was heading northbound on Interstate 95 in the left lane.

Meanwhile, a man parked a U-Haul truck in the median of the northbound side of the interstate and tried walk across the northbound lanes.

Troopers said he was killed when he walked in front of Adams’ car.
