Police investigate fatal shooting outside Titusville apartment complex

TITUSVILLE, Fla. — Police are investigating after a man was shot and killed in Titusville Wednesday evening.

According to police, officers were called to an apartment complex just off South Brown Avenue around 9:30 p.m. after someone reported hearing gunshots.

Officers say when they arrived at the complex they found De’Quon Bovian, 25, who had been shot lying in the parking lot.

Bovian was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

Detectives have not said what may have led to the shooting. The shooter remains at large.
