Police investigating hit-and-run crash in Ocoee

OCOEE, Fla. — Police are searching for a car involved in a hit-and-run crash Tuesday evening near Ocoee.

According to police, a child on a bicycle was crossing Wurst Road just after 5:30 p.m. when he was hit by a car.

After hitting the child, the car then drove away.

Neighbors who heard the crash came out of their homes to check on the child as they called 911.

Video from a nearby security camera shows a blue Toyota Corolla hit the child before driving away.

Police believe the car is a mid-2000s Blue Toyota Corolla with a faded roof, and could possibly have damage to the right-front passenger side.
