Police searching for New Smyrna Beach bank robber

NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. — New Smyrna Beach police released a surveillance photo of a man they said robbed a bank on State Road 44 in New Smyrna Beach Friday.

According to police, late Friday morning, a man robbed a Friend's Bank of an undisclosed amount of money.

Police said the man is described as white, in his 40s with short brown hair. He was wearing dark sunglasses, gray pants and a dark color long-sleeve button-up shirt. They said the man's left hand was wrapped with an ACE Bandage.
