PORT ORANGE, Fla. — A pedestrian was hit and killed in Port Orange Thursday morning, according to police.
Around 9 a.m., Port Orange police and the fire department were called to the intersection of White Street and Ridgewood Avenue.
Police said the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to investigators, one vehicle was involved and there were no other injuries.
