Ribbon cutting will open Ocala traffic flyover

OCALA, Fla. — A ribbon cutting will open a much anticipated road project in Ocala on Thursday.

At 11 a.m. officials will open the 42^nd Street flyover.

The new bridge will relieve traffic in the area of State Road 200 and Interstate 75.

It will also provide drivers with easier access to nearby streets.

The project, which employed dozens of area workers and used materials from local suppliers, finished ahead of schedule.
