ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition Friday morning after a fight broke out between two contract workers at Universal’s Islands of Adventure.
Frederick Torres, 33, is facing charges of first-degree murder with a weapon.
He and another contract worker were involved in the incident, Universal Studios spokesman Tom Schroder said.
No guests or park employees were involved in the fight, Schroder said.
The Toon Lagoon section of the park was closed while police investigated the scene.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
Police did not say the weapon used in the incident.
