Smoke from a separate fire burning near the Turnpike in Kenansville is also causing visibility problems for drivers, according to FHP. However, they’re simply advising drivers to use caution as the Turnpike remains open to traffic.
In Brevard County, troopers are monitoring visibility along I-95 near Grant Road where another brush fire is burning.
